Thank you, Basedgod.
My face when my mom tells me to go to school in the morning.
This is something I’ve been thinking about recently and I think it’s a pretty interesting question to bring up, as well as being a generally easy way to piss of Christians, which I’m always up for, but anyway, the question is, is god an Atheist?
In order to answer a question like this, I felt we should first establish what Jesus essentially is in relation to the Christian religion as a whole. So Jesus is basically a part of god, and I know that in Christianity there are 3, I guess you could say, manifestations of god, being the father, the son, and the holy ghost, which would be god, Jesus, and whatever the holy ghost is, because honestly, I don’t know what the hell the holy ghost is, I’m not very big on my theology, but they’re all essentially part of the same “god” entity.
So, Christians have three manifestations of god, but they’re all manifestations of the same god, and they have a monotheistic religion, they have one god, and you can’t say that Jesus is entirely separate from god and that there isn’t any sort of overlap, because then you would have a polytheistic religion.
Given that Christianity is a monotheistic religion, it can be said that Jesus is god, and that’s where the “Is god an Atheist” argument comes in.
So if God exists, and he is all-knowing and all-powerful, you could say that he is ignorant of other gods that may or may not be more all-powerful or more all-knowing (which is technically impossible since the knowledge of god, and the bible is physical proof of this, the knowledge of god is limited to the knowledge of the primitive human beings who wrote the bible, as stated in my last post). Now this can be applied to the human race.
To Christians, the Atheists of the human race are seen as arrogant before god, because we feel we are the end-all, be-all of the universe, but if god is ignorant to the existence of other gods, wouldn’t he be guilty of the same arrogance before any other god that might potentially exist?
So you could say god is all-knowing, but humanity says we’re are all-knowing, so how can you trust god, who created us in his own image? How can you trust his claim that he is all-knowing when we say that we’re all-knowing? Especially since we are often proven wrong by advancements in science. So what if god is an Atheist up there? If there exists a god of any particular religion that we know of on this earth and he exists out there and is presumably an Atheist, couldn’t that be seen as equally arrogant as any Atheist among the human population?
So if Jesus is god, and god is an Atheist and can be completely ignorant to the existence of any other gods just like cavemen were when human brains first developed to a stage similar to where it is now.
Unless you believe in the idiocy that the garden of eden was not a metaphor and there were actually people living to the age of 600 without any knowledge of medicine like Adam and Eve, Atheism is pretty much the default state of mind. So I would think that if a god does exist, Atheism would be the default state of his mind as well, as evidenced by “he created us in his own image”, which is bullshit and just circle-jerks human desire.
So you have to ask yourself, if god is out there, what reason would he have to believe in any other god? God is guilty of the same arrogance before any other potential god just like a human atheist is apparently ignorant in the face of the Christian god, and this is especially true with the Christian god because he’s very enthusiastic about punishing people and being scornful because he apparently feels rejected like a fat high school girl being rejected at her prom or some shit, that’s kind of the mentality god has in some cases.
So if you examine this further you can essentially get an infinite loop of god, because what if there’s another god out there who’s ignorant to another god, and that god is ignorant to yet another god because we all assume that we are the end-all, be-all, so you could assume that all gods are ignorant and basically get an infinite loop of god. But then if that’s the case, what god would be called the supreme god? And this kind of defeats any “sensible” approach to believe in god, it invalidates any sort of belief because you wouldn’t even know what to worship. Why would there only be one god? Why would it stop at one? This has to be one of those things that is either zero or infinite. So you either have no god, or an infinite loop of gods, which is essentially the same thing as no god because you wouldn’t know what to worship anyway, unless you’re some sort of retarded pantheist, where you believe god is everything, why would you believe that? If everything is god, there’s just so much of it, it’s like, what’s there to worship?
Anyway, I’m done with this. Dicks.
Took an IQ test yesterday and got 117. Take that, niggers.
Everyone thinks it makes them look cool and edgy to quote the movie, Fight Club. You want to look cool and edgy? Quote the fucking book, not the movie, faggot.
